How a round works
The European Roulette Pro wheel has 37 pockets numbered 0 to 36. A round begins with the betting time — during this period, players place chips on the table to bet on their chosen numbers or areas.
Once betting closes, the dealer (or the automated system in the digital version) spins the wheel and releases a small ball in the opposite direction. As the wheel slows down, the pocket where the ball lands is the winning result for that round.
Players whose bets match that number or its related area receive a payout at the set rate. Those whose bets do not match lose their chips. The betting time for the next round then begins.

Understanding the house edge in European Roulette
European Roulette has a single zero (0) — this is the main source of the casino's advantage. Mathematically, over the long run the casino retains around 2.7% on average from every bet. That figure is roughly half that of American Roulette, which has both 0 and 00.
This means that regardless of which bet you place — Straight Up or red/black — this rate stays the same over the long run. Wins and losses will vary within individual sessions, but the mathematics of the game does not change.
A special rule called La Partage is available on some versions — if the ball lands on 0, half of any Even Money bet is returned to the player. This brings the house edge down to approximately 1.35%.
